Stories, Essays

My genre of choice these days is the personal essay, where I find myself musing about what I see and what I remember and what I make of it all. Some of those musing end up on my blog (echo river.ca/pauladunning/blog). Others I’m compiling for a collection with a tentative publication date of Fall, 2020. Stay tuned.

A few of my essays have been aired on CBC Radio’s Sunday Edition. You can listen to them here.

September, 1962. Reflections on the Cuban Missile Crisis

Confessions of a Snowbird

Becoming Invisible: Passing Middle Age

Occasionally, I venture into short fiction. Here’s one of my favourites.
