Most potters make vegetable servin g trays as a single piece. I prefer a different design - a tray with a bowl-holder ring in the center, with 2 or 3 separate dishes. | |||
Why? Having separate bowls allows for a couple of different sizes. Or, if you want two separate dips, one bowl can be placed in the center ring and another to the side. Last but not least, they are much easier to clean - just put the pieces in the dishwasher. They're not as likely to chip. | |||
