Arts at the Dock is held the third Sunday of July in Hilton Beach, Ontario, on St. Joseph Island, about 50 kilometers south of Sault Ste. Marie. The village of Hilton Beach becomes an active place, with both the community hall and the waterfront serving as showplaces for area artists and artisans. The annual Sylvan Circle Tour provides an opportunity to spend a glorious fall day driving through the Algoma countryside, visiting 40 or more artists and artisans in community halls and private studios between Echo Bay and Bruce Mines. The tour makes a loop, following Highways 638 and 17 between Echo Bay and Bruce Mines. The Sylvan Circle Tour takes place the second or third Saturday of September.
